The velvet eyebrow technique uses a digital machine, which allows soft pixels of colour to be layered on to the brows to create the perfect shape. The result is a more velvet soft eyebrow powder look.
After the procedure
The entire process is completely pain free.
After the first session you might be a bit surprised as the eyebrows will look thicker and darker than the final result. The colour will become around 50% lighter over the following 4 weeks.
How long do powder brows last?
They typically last for 12 to 18 months and they are great for people with oily skin because the pigment lasts longer. Whereas the microblading technique might fade more quickly. It is also a good option for mature clients and those who play sports and love to be active.
After Care
Reactions such as swelling and redness may occur in the first few hours after the application. Treating the area with ice or soothing creams, etc. should be avoided.
Water should not come in contact with the treated area for the first 3 days. Also avoid the sun, swimming pools and exercising for at least 3 to 5 days after the session. Factors affecting skin pores such as sea, pool, sauna, Turkish bath, steam bath and solarium should be avoided for at least 1 month.
Around 3 to 4 days your eyebrows will start to scab and flake. You should not touch the scabs, just let them for off naturally. Do not put any cream on the area. The healing process may differ for everyone.
Between 5-7 days, you can return to your normal routine regarding your eyebrows.
After 4 to 6 weeks the brows will appear more defined. If retouching is required, it should be done at this time. However, most eyebrows do not need this and one session is sufficient.
