Lip contouring (sometimes referred to as lip definition or lip filler) is an advanced non surgical, dermal filler treatment which gives definition to the border outline of the lips. It is very popular treatment for both men and women. Natural ingredients are used in this procedure. Semi permanent lip contour is an application preferred by people who may have some scarring or asymmetrical lips. The results of this procedure are fuller, younger and softer lips.
How to apply semi permanent lip pigmentation
An anesthetic cream is applied to the lip area before starting the permanent lip contour procedure. When the lips are numb, the lip shape is designed depending on the face size and the wishes of the person. The color to be used is determined. After the design is finished and the client is satisfied. The determined color pigments are applied to the designated areas with the aid of disposable micro needles specifically produced for semi permanent make-up.
After care
You can apply ice to your lips afterwards using an ice pack or ice cubes in a cloth. This will help ease swelling, itching, bruising and any other pain. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 to 48 hours after the treatment.
Who should not receive lip contouring
Semi permanent lip make up should not be applied to those younger than 18 years of age, people with skin lesions such as herpes, warts, fungus, eczema, or with broken capillaries on their lips. Those with ailments such as diabetes, anemia and hemophilia can have permanent lip make-up done after obtaining doctor’s approval.
