Semi permanent make-up is a micro pigment application and it is a form of tattooing. This can be applied to eyebrows, eyeliner and/or lips. Non-toxic pigments are used.
After care proceses
You should not get the treated area wet for one week.
You should not apply lipstick while it is healing as there is a risk of an infection.
Procedures involving steam and heat such as baths and saunas should be avoided for the first (one) week.
The application area should be protected with sunscreen.
In which situations is semi permanent makeup not applicable?
Semi permanent make-up on moles and keloids (an enlarged, raised scar), people with pigment allergies,
People under the age of 18,
People with conditions like melanoma (redness on the skin) conjunctivitis,
Skin lesions (eczema, wart, fungus),
It is not recommended to apply to pregnant women and people undergoing chemotherapy.
How long does the semi permanent make-up last?
Semi permanent make-up generally wears off between 6 months and 2 years after first application. However, this period depends on the person’s skin type, age, and even external factors like climate etc. The colored pigments under the skin decrease, fade and eventually deplete as the skin is renewed. For this reason, semi permanent makeup should be retouched at regular intervals. Oily skin regenerates faster than dry skin. As a result, the duration of semi permanent make-up is shortened.
