The laser beams highly concentrated light in to the hair follicles. Pigments in the follicles  absorb the light and that destroys the hair.

Lasers are useful for removing unwanted hair from the face,  leg, chin,  back,  arm, underarm, bikini line and other areas.

Things to consider before laser epilation application;

Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that requires traning to peform. If you are planning on undergoing laser hair removal, you should limit plucking, waxing and electrolysis for 6 weeks before treatment.

You should also avoid sun exposure for 6 weeeks before and after treatment.

Sunbathing or solarium reduces the effectiveness of the application.

Products such as cream or oil should not be used before laser epilation sessions.

Laser epilation sessions cannot start until a month has passed since the last application of another type of epilation. One day before the application the hairs should be removed with a razor blade for application.

What to expect during laser hair removal;

The laser equipment will be adjusted according to the colour,  thickness and location of the hair being treated,  as well as your skin clour.

What to expect after laser hair removal

After to procedure the treated area of your skin will look and feel like it is sunburned. It should not be exposed to the sun.

Keep the treated area clean and dry. Dead hairs will begin to shed 5 to 30 days after treatment.

Treat the area with suncream daily at least 30+ SPF. Gently exfoliate the area but do not wax,  pluck or otherwise remove the hair by force.
